Since Pastor Phil Wohr became the lead pastor, there has been a strong and growing desire among guests and new members to be part of a church family that reads through the entire Bible together, from beginning to end, each year as a congregation to learn about God and answer questions.
Many born-again Christian Protestants today are drawn back to more traditional services, having grown weary of performance-driven experiences or having stopped attending church altogether.
At Liberty Baptist Church of Frisco, we seek to offer a meaningful blend of reverent tradition and Bible preaching, expository Bible preaching. We hold to the conviction that Jesus instituted two sacraments for the church to practice: Baptism (Matthew 28:19–20; Matthew 3:13–17) and Communion (Matthew 26:26–28; Luke 22:19–20; Corinthians 11:23–26).

Leaders and members prayer and hope is that Liberty Baptist is home to weary souls to rest in Jesus from the heavy, dark world and be encouraged to fight the fight, knowing God has predestinated our relationship with Him before the foundation of the world and we can walk in the “good works set before us.” (Romans 8:29-39; Ephesians 2).
Pastor Phil prays that anyone who attends Liberty over a 3 to 5 year period would receive the equivalent of a Bible school education through weekly Bible studies and Bible-Read Through Sermon Series.
“For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.” Acts 20:27
We love being a people asking God questions and God answering them in His Word, so much we have a Q&A section of YouTube Pastor Phil answers. Join us this 11:00am Sunday service. We would love to meet you.
